Mr. Frank Lee “Pa” Smith, Sr., 81, of Metter passed away Monday afternoon, July 25, 2016 at Azalea Health and Rehab following an extended illness.
Mr. Smith was born September 7, 1934 in Marvel, Ala. to the late Victor Smith and Lillian Higgins Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Phyllis Eloise Smith. Mr. Smith worked all his life in construction as a welder. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with Nikki his Chihuahua that has been by his side for 15 years. Mr. Smith was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his son, Frank L. (Robin) Smith, Jr. of Metter; daughters Traci L. Smith of Claxton, Terry L. (Elmer) Blackburn of Metter, and Debra L. Smith of Atlanta; companion, Betty Jean Smith; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial Services will be private and at a later date.
