Frederick Vernard "Freddy Love" Seabrough

Mr. Frederick Vernard Seabrough, 57, of Swainsboro, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026, at his residence. He was born on August 16, 1968, in Swainsboro to the late Charles Seabrough and Mary Stephens Hall. Frederick was preceded in death by his parents; stepdad, Larry Hall; brothers, Daron Stephens and Nicholas Hall.

Fredrick Venard Seabrough, a devoted father, loving family man, and respected member of his community. Born on 8/16/68 in Swainsboro, ga, he lived a life defined by strength, love, and unwavering dedication to those he cared about most.

As a father, Frederick Vernard Seabrough was more than a provider — he was a wise man. He believed in teaching through experience. He shared his life lessons openly, wanting his children to learn from his journey so they would not have to stumble the same way he once did. His guidance wasn’t just advice; it was protection, preparation, and love in its purest form.

He understood that true fatherhood meant being present — not only in the good times, but in the difficult ones too. He spoke with wisdom, corrected with care, and loved without condition. His words carried weight because they came from lived experience, and his children knew that everything he said was rooted in a desire to see them succeed.

Frederick’s legacy is one that will never fade. His love was so genuine and so consistent that it became part of his identity. That is why he was known as “Freddy Love.” It wasn’t just a nickname — it was who he was. His spirit of laughter, light, and unconditional love will continue to live on through his children, his family, and every life he touched.

Frederick is survived by three sons, Frederick Seabrough, Jr. of Statesboro, Cedrick Seabrough (Amy) and Daron Coleman, both of Swainsboro; five brothers, Charles Seabrough (Tonya),Victor Hall, Audrereus Mosely-Hall, Terrell Sherrod, all of Swainsboro, Calvin Seabrough (Jennifer) of Uvalda; four sisters, Deidra Seabrough (Robert), Marilyn Sherrod, both of Swainsboro, Andrea Brown (Ronald) of Atlanta and Shakeyra Hall of Conyers; special friend, Shameka Coleman; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Interment will follow in Swainsboro City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.
