Fredrico "Fred" Alexander Carlyle

Mr. Fredrico “Fred” Alexander Carlyle, 44, of Swainsboro passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in South Sacramento, CA.

Mr. Carlyle was born December 5, 1977, in Swainsboro to David Steve Hightower, Jr. and Patricia Ann Carlyle-Young. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Antoine A. Carlyle. Mr. Carlyle graduated class of 1996 from Swainsboro High School. He worked at Keller’s Ladders while attending school, later furthering his education at North Carolina Technical College, obtaining his Commercial Drivers Permit. He then moved from Hamlet, NC to Sacramento, CA where he drove for Young’s Trucking Co., and later worked for FedEx. Fred was brought up in a God-fearing home by his mother. He played drums and attended bible study and youth for Christ, where he was a member of the former Davis Chapel Holiness Church under the leadership of the late BishopMary S. McKinnon, now known as Temple of Grace Holiness Church under the leadership of Apostle Linda S. Travett. Fred later joined under Solid Rock THCAF, where Chief Apostle David L. Dupree D. D. is the Pastor and Founder. He played drums during fellowship services and Solid Rock services. He was baptized in the name of Jesus.

He is survived by his wife, Vanelle Carlyle of Swainsboro; children, Vaniah Carlyle, Alexandria Carlyle, Fredrico Carlyle, Jr., all of Metter, Branasha Carlyle and Zachariah Carlyle, both of Swainsboro; brothers, Byron Hightower (Wanda) of Wrightsville, David Hightower, III (Angela) of Savannah, Jimmy Dudley (Deloise) of Sandersville, Terence Carlyle, Sr. (Lashonda) of Stillmore; sister, Nedra T. Kirkland of Swainsboro; several aunts uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Swainsboro City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Howard, Elroy Howard, Jeffrey Davis, Nicolas Carlyle, Darien Kirkland, and Dondrea Kirkland.
