Mr. George Edward Prince, 72, of Swainsboro passed away Friday night, November 15, 2013 at the Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro.
Mr. Prince was born in Cherokee North Carolina to the late Edward Prince and Laura Walters Prince. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Mae Jackson Prince. He was a retired truck driver with Arnold Trucking.
Survivors include his son, George Michael Prince of Rome; stepsons, Ronald Varner, Jr. of Swainsboro, David (Tonza) Varner of Statesboro; grandchildren, Kevin Varner, Crystal Varner, Megan Parker and Jenna Varner all of Statesboro, Jonathan Shirey of Canton and Ronald Lee Varner III of Swainsboro; great grandchildren, Gavin and Preston Varner both of Swainsboro, Kateyln Varner and Laila Parker both of Statesboro.
Memorial service will be held at Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum at 11 o’clock Saturday morning, November 23, 2013.
