Mr. Gideon Nathanael “Nathan” Kapp, 35, of Adrian passed away Monday, June 8, 2026, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. He was born in Dublin on March 3, 1991, to Todd Steven Kapp, Sr. and Stephanie Powell Kapp. Nathan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James D. Kapp and Shelbajean Kapp and maternal grandparents, Herman H. Powell, Sr. and Zona Mae Powell.
Nathan was a beloved son, brother, father, family member, and friend whose presence brought joy, laughter, and comfort to everyone who knew him.
Above all else, Nathan loved his children and family. They were the center of his world.
Nathan was known for his kind and generous spirit. He had a huge heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. If someone needed help, encouragement, or even the shirt off his back, Nathan was there without hesitation. His selflessness and compassion left a lasting impact on countless lives.
A hardworking man with a wonderful sense of humor, Nathan had a way of making people smile even during difficult times. His laughter was contagious, and his quick wit brought happiness to family gatherings and everyday moments alike.
Nathan enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He also had a creative side and loved drawing. In addition, he was known for his skills in the kitchen and loved preparing meals for family and friends. Whether he was cooking, sharing stories, or enjoying time with loved ones, Nathan made every moment special.
Nathan attended the Church of Jesus Christ in Scott, Georgia.
Though Nathan’s passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him, his legacy of generosity, hard work, laughter, and devotion to family will live on. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
Survivors include his parents, Todd Kapp, Sr. and Stephanie Powell Kapp of Scott; children, Landon Nathaniel Kapp, Amberlynn Rose Kapp, Gracie Isabella Kapp, all of Scott; brothers, Steven Kapp (Brandy) of East. Dublin, Joshua Kapp (Amanda) of Scott, Nicolas Kapp (Jamie) of Kite; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ with Pastor Todd Kapp officiating.
Interment will be in The Church of Jesus Christ cemetery.
The family will receive friends at The Church of Jesus Christ on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Steven Kapp, Joshua Kapp, Nicolas Kapp, Hunter Kapp, Dustin Simmons and Cody Thompson.
