Ms. Glenda L. Fortner, 54, of Wrightsville died Tuesday afternoon, March 20, 2012 at the Wrightsville Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Ms. Fortner was born in Soperton and lived most of her life in Emanuel and Johnson County. She was preceded in death by her parents Gus Fortner and Louise Williams Fortner. She was a member of Minton Chapel Advent Christian Church.
Ms. Fortner is survived by many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Minton Chapel Advent Christian Church at 3 o’clock Thursday, afternoon March 22, 2012 with Reverends Raymond Brown and Bob Rathburn officiating. Ms. Fortner will Lie in State one hour prior to service. Burial will be in the Gumlog Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Kite.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday March 21, 2012 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Royce Lee Page, John Page, Tracy Page, T.J. Page, Greg Odom and Brent Ross.
