Glinda Faye Moore Screws, 80, of Swainsboro passed peacefully on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at her residence under the care of Pruitt Health Hospice of Swainsboro, GA. She was born March 2, 1946, in Emanuel County to the late Algerine P. Moore and Lena Hackle Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jurd William Screws; daughter, Amy Screw. Mrs. Glinda loved fishing and going camping.
Survivors include extended family members and friends
Visitation will be Tuesday morning August 11, 2026, from 9 to 10 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will be at the Swainsboro City Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2026, with Reverend Jonathan Shepard officiating.
