Harry Lacy Jones

Mr. Harry Lacy Jones, 78, of Swainsboro, passed away Tuesday, July 4th at Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro, following an extended illness.

Mr. Jones was born July 9, 1944, to Carl Jones and Emma Lee Samples Jones. He is preceeded in death by his parents; brother, Carl Jones, Jr., Pete Jones, Ray Jones, George Jones; sisters, Bess Jones and Rosemary Womack. Mr. Jones retired from the Georgia Corrections Industries. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Jones of Swainsboro; sons, Bill Bailey (Cathy) of Elkhart, TX, Mark Bailey (Terri) of Braswellton, and Rusty Bailey of Swainsboro; sister, Carlous Ann Robb (Steve) of Midway; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and many friends

A Memorial Celebration will be held at a later date and time.
