Harry Albert Ranker

Mr. Harry Albert Ranker, 84, of Swainsboro passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Ranker was born in Roaring Springs, PA. July 13, 1936 to the late Earl Ranker and Ella Belle Boyd Staples. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Virginia Arbuckle Ranker. Mr. Ranker loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed trap shooting and spending time with his family. Mr. Ranker was an automobile mechanic and helped his wife with her floral business.

Survivors include his daughter, Ann (Mark) Rivenburg of Swainsboro; brothers, James (Laura) Ranker of Northfield, VT., Robert Staple of Somerset, KY; sisters, Elizabeth (Gary) Richardson of Berlin, VT, Sheril (Jim) Mann of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Christopher (Tyra) Staley, Samantha Staley, Theodore (Zayla) Rivenburg, Amanda Rivenburg, Stephanie Flakes; 7 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Memorial Services will be private and at a later date.
