Helen Irene Coleman

Ms. Helen Irene Coleman, 91, of Stuart, Fl., passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023.

Ms. Coleman was born July 31, 1931 in Swainsboro, to Curtis Coleman and Mary O’Cilla Coleman. She was a graduate of Swainsboro High School. She has lived in many places including Savannah, GA, Long Island, NY, Rahway, NJ, before settling in Stuart, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Olvie Coleman, George “Buck” Coleman, Rev. Bobby G. Coleman; sister, Gaynell Coleman Cosden.

Survivors include her sister, Annette Lewis Evans; sisters-in-law, Mary A. Coleman of Swainsboro and Brenda Coleman Youmans of Tifton; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Graveside Memorial Service will be held at Swainsboro City Cemetery, Monday, February 6, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Tom Tidwell officiating.
