Helen Harper

Mrs. Helen Johnson Harper, 69, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Harper was born March 15, 1950 in Swainsboro to the late L.A. Johnson and Loucille Jones Johnson.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Arthur Harper; son, Frank Harper; brothers, Ollie Johnson, Alfred Johnson; sister, Deophia Brown, Geraldine Johnson.  Mrs. Harper loved watching T.V. and planting flowers.  She enjoyed her children and grandchildren.  She was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Survivors include her sons, Willie (Tena) Harper of Metter, Chauncey Harper of Lakeland, FL; daughters, Vanessa Livingston and Shanice Harper, both of Swainsboro; brother, Marvin Johnson of Vidalia; 10 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
