Helen Canady Williamson

Mrs. Helen Canady Williamson, 70, of Midville passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at University Hospital following a brief illness.

Mrs. Williamson was born November 30, 1948 in Millen, GA. to the late Henry Canady and Ruth Bennett Canady. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, B.J. Williamson; sister, Lois Dailey. Mrs. Williamson enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to the Emanu’ole Opry. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Benny Williamson of Midville; daughters, Becky Brown (Lawson) of Midville, and Wendy Greene (Junior) of Harlem; brother, Dannay Canady (Cheryl) of Midville; sister, Mabel Wiggins of Swainsboro; sister & brother-in-law, Sue Canady (Bobby) of Canoochee; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Celebration of Life will be Monday, September 30, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home
