Hudson Lawrence, Jr.

Mr. Hudson Lawrence Jr., 83, of Twin City passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Lawrence was born December 03, 1937, in Stillmore to the late Hudson Ellie Lawrence and Lucille Slater Oglesby. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sally Lawrence; sons, Billy Lawrence, Tony Keith Lawrence.  He was a member of Stillmore Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sons, Patrick Lawrence (Jean), Ray Lawrence, Carl Lawrence all of West Virginia; daughters, Virginia Lawrence (Lee Page) of Twin City, Dellena Sheppard (Timmy), Brenda McCoy (Dustin) both of West Virginia; brother, Eugene Lawrence (Neta) of Savannah; granddaughter, Tinslee Elaine Page; 6 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2021, in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Lamar Kersey officiating.

Interment will follow in the Stillmore City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lee Page, Royce Lee Page, Joshua Page, James Amerson, Randy Bird, Dylan Slater.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Chapman Funeral Home.
