Ira Gay Royster, Iii

Mr. Ira Gay Royster, III, 75, of Midville passed away Monday, January 20, 2020 at Community Hospice in Vidalia following an extended illness.

Mr. Royster was born July 22, 1944 in Statesville, NC to the late Ira G. Royster, Jr. and Thelma Sargent Martin Royster.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ira G. Royster, IV.  Mr. Royster loved woodworking, being outside and computers.  He was previous owner of Pansy’s in Louisville, Cotton Patch Liquor Store and Villa South in Sandersville.

Survivors include his stepdaughters, Ashley (Jerry) Akridge of Stillmore, Tiffany (T.J.) Rodgers of Sheridan,  WY; stepson, Trent (Katie) Toussau of Riddleville; companion, Louise Kitchens of Moxley; fur baby, Bella; sister, Cathrine (Alexander) Corpening of Hickory, NC; 7 grandchildren and many friends

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Mr. Ira Gay Royster, III at 3718 Hwy 1, North, Midville on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
