Mrs. Irma Henry McNeely, 86, of Swainsboro died Tuesday evening, March 12, 2013 at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro following an extended illness.
Mrs. McNeely was born in Swainsboro and a life long resident of Emanuel County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emanuel and Buna Henry; husband, Rudolph McNeely; daughter, Sharon Hutcheson. Mrs. McNeely was an avid Braves fan.
Survivors include her daughter, Lori (Johnny) Chalker of Swainsboro; grandsons, Jason Hutcheson of Marietta, Jared (Heather) Peebles, Justin Peebles, Joshua Peebles all of Swainsboro; great granddaughter, Payton Peebles of Swainsboro; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at the Swainsboro City Cemetery at 11 o’clock Thursday, morning March 14, 2013 with Curt Gimm officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Chapman Funeral Home.
