Mr. James Ronnie Brantley, 63, of Adrian passed away Thursday morning, August 17, 2017 at Community Hospice following an extended illness.
Mr. Brantley was born September 3, 1953 in Emanuel County, Georgia to the late S. L. Brantley and Wynie Mae Bishop. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Faye Herrington; nephew, Freddie Herrington. Mr. Brantley was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and attended Adrian First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Trudie Calhoun Brantley of Augusta; daughters, Jenny Mullis (Darrell) of Adrian, Rebecca Brantley of Swainsboro, and Crystal Lee (Jason) of Kite; sister, Melissa Jones Floyd (Johnny) of Dublin Ga.; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2017 with Elder Wayne Fennell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lamb Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Jody Gibson, Alec Perkins, Nickey Perkins, Larry Morris, Jamie Tanner, George Culbreth, and Daryl Hill.
