Mr. James Henry Davis III, 67, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025, at PruittHealth Swainsboro. He was born March 25, 1958, in Swainsboro to the late James H. Davis Jr. and Mary Ottie Howard.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—days spent hunting and fishing and long afternoons outdoors. An excellent marksman, he was known for his uncanny skill; he could toss a quarter into the air and shoot it before it hit the ground.
He had a deep love for his loyal dogs, Blue and Buddy, who were never far from his side. Many of his favorite moments were spent cooking out with family and friends, creating the kind of meals and memories that brought people together.
He looked forward each year to traveling to Daytona, a place filled with tradition and joy for him. He also found freedom on the open road, riding his motorcycle with a smile on his face.
His passions, his talents, and the way he embraced life will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Henry is survived by his sisters, Jean Black of Ellabelle and Blenda Allen of Statesboro.
