James Pernell Lane

Mr. James Pernell Lane, 54, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at AU Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mr. Lane was born in Lyons, GA on March 30, 1966 to the late Albert Lane, Sr. and Ora Mae Forman Lane.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Albert Lane Jr. and Robert Lane; sisters, Cora Lane, Alzeta Phillips, Shirley Brooks, Elizabeth Lane and Carrie Williams.  Mr. Lane was always the life of the party.  He was a hard worker and loved spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his daughter, Shneica (Michael) Moses of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Malaysia Lockett, Cameron Lockett, Mikeysha Lockett; life-long companion, Sarah Nell Ford (and her 5 children); host of relatives and friends.

Memorial Service will be 1 pm Saturday, December 19, 2020 in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Armstrong offciating.
