Mr. James Edward Passmore, 67, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Passmore was born February 28, 1948 in Macon to the late James Lamar Passmore and Helen Brown Whitehead. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Margaret Passmore; son, Phillip Passmore; daughter, Elizabeth Passmore; brother, Bubba Passmore; sister, Lynn Whitehead. Mr. Passmore was a devoted brother, father, and husband, retiring early to take care of his wife during her illness.
Survivors include his sons, Tony Passmore, Michael Passmore both of Swainsboro; sister, Linda Bragg of Millen; grandchildren, Chasity (Shawn) Wiseman of Nunez, Seth Passmore of Swainsboro, and Nik Dunn of Statesboro;1 great grandson; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services will be held at the Swainsboro City Cemetery 2:30 p.m. Monday evening, February 29, 2016 with Reverend Franklin Sasser officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday evening, February 29, 2016 at Chapman Funeral Home.
