Mr. James Allen Hunt, Jr., 70, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Pruitt Health Nursing Home of Swainsboro following an extended illness.
Mr. Hunt was born November 3, 1944 to James A. Hunt, Sr. and Eloise Stearns Hunt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Diane Chester Hunt; father, James A. Hunt, Sr.; brother, Robin Hunt; sister, Georgina Hunt. Mr. Hunt served in the United States Air Force and worked in security. He was a bible scholar and attended Emanuel Christian Ministries.
Survivors include his mother, Eloise Stearns Hunt of Naples FL; brother, Rusty Hunt of Apopka FL; sister, Marilyn Harris of Naples FL; sister-in-law, Linda Chester of Twin City; niece, Robyn Chester of Pooler; nephew, Roy Chester of Twin City.
Graveside Memorial services will be held at the Hawhammock Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon, April 10, 2015 with Reverends Bunny Hudson and Cail Pressey officiating.
