James "Jj" Jackson Swain, Jr.

Mr. James Jackson “JJ” Swain, Jr., 64, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Emanuel Medical Center following a brief illness.

JJ was born February 21, 1958, in Macon, GA to the late James Jackson Swain and Karen Tucker Swain. JJ was very talented and skilled in auto body work and painting cars, some referred to him as the best in town. It was a passion of his and he even built cars from scratch. JJ loved being outdoors, enjoying nature. He loved his children and was definitely a “mama’s boy”. He was a kind, free-spirited man. He loved the mother of his children, spoke of her his whole life. They have been reunited, together in Heaven. JJ had a good heart and was outgoing, he would have a conversation with anyone.

He is survived by his mother, Karen Swain of Warner Robins; daughters, Kristy Porter (Roger) of Mogadore, OH, Samantha Swain of Warner Robins, Jamie Owens (Tyler) of Macon, Angel Usry (Justin) of Bonaire; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Jameson, Amielynn, Allie, Easton, and Liam.

Memorial Service will be private and at a later date.
