Mr. James ‘Lil’ Larry Bedgood, Jr., 33, of Meeks died late Wednesday night, August 8, 2012 at the Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro.
Mr. Bedgood was a life long residence of Emanuel County. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Mary Hall Scott and paternal grandfather Harvey Bedgood. Mr. Bedgood’s favorite past time was throwing darts and shooting pool. He loved being with family especially his nieces and nephew.
Survivors include his parents, mother, Lynn Mimbs and Jerry Scarboro of Meeks; father, Larry Bedgood, Sr. and Shaira Skinner of Swainsboro; maternal grandfather, Robert Mimbs of Meeks; paternal grandmother, Syble Curl of Swainsboro; sisters, Stacy Bedgood of Meeks and Shanna Morrison of Vidalia; brother Kade Scarboro of Plant City FL; nieces Brianna Clifton, Kaylie Clifton both of Meeks and Riley Galbreath of Vidalia; nephew Devin Clifton of Meeks; special aunt, Kathy Riner; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 11 o’clock Saturday, August 11, 2012 with Rev. Joe Bedgood officiating. Burial will be in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday August 10, 2012 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Henry, Cody Hutchinson, Steve Waters, Phil Riner, Chris Wilkerson, Casey Henry, Mikey Corbin and Eric Herrington.
