Mr. James Phillip Passmore, 42, of Swainsboro died Wednesday morning, February 29, 2012 from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
Mr. Passmore was born in Swainsboro and a life long residence of Emanuel County. He was preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth Ashley Passmore. Mr. Passmore served in the Army National Guard for 8 ½ years with the 878 A Company Combat Engineering. He was currently employed with Billy Overstreet Plumbing and Electric.
Survivors include his parents, Edward and Margaret L. Passmore of Swainsboro; sons, Robert Nikholas Dunn and Tyler Seth Passmore both of Swainsboro; brothers, Tony Passmore and Michael Passmore both of Swainsboro; grandson, Braxton Ace Passmore of Swainsboro; one niece, several aunts and uncles and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2 o’clock Friday, afternoon March 2, 2012 with Elder Tommy Rountree officiating. Burial will be in the Swainsboro City Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from noon until time of service Friday March 2, 2012 at Chapman Funeral Home and at the residence of Tarl and Lucy Fennell, 612 Prosperity Dr., Swainsboro.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Sapp, Rufus Hannah, Dustin Akridge, Charles Royal, Alex Bragg, and Robbie Reynolds.
