Jane (Douglas) Mason

Ms. Jane Douglas Mason, 68, of Swainsboro passed away September 13, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.

Ms. Mason was born January 25, 1952 in Wrightsville to the late E. A. Douglas, Jr. and Earlene Davis Douglas. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lanier Dixon, Earl Dixon. Ms. Mason worked as a radiology technician for 40+ years at Emanuel Medical Center. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and her granddaughter, as they meant everything to her.

Survivors include her daughters, Brandi (Andy) Tant of Kite; brother, Russell (Shirley) Dixon of Wrightsville; sisters, Thelma Sweat and Linda Douglas, both of Wrightsville; granddaughter, Alana Tant of Kite; grandson, Zach Tant of Charleston, SC; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Memorial Service will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6 feet rule will be enforced during visitation and service.
