Mr. Jason Walker, 46, of Adrian passed away Thursday night, November 30, 2017 at Emanuel Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mr. Walker was born June 16, 1971 in Swainsboro, Ga. to Bobby Gene Walker and Joanne Cox Walker. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Walker was a native of Emanuel County and a long-time quality control specialist at Rayonier/ Interfor. He was a Proud Swainsboro High School Alumni (class of 1990) and took several continuing education classes throughout his life. He Loved to fish, hunt, and be outdoors more than anything.
Survivors include his mother, Joanne Walker of Swainsboro; daughter, JoBeth Walker of Metter; brothers, Raymond Walker of Wrightsville, Lonzie Woods of Swainsboro, Ben Woods (Denise) of Perry, and Danny Woods (Sharon) of Byron; companion, Tracie Mimbs of Adrian; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2017 with Reverend Joe Bedgood officiating.
Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Mark Snellgrove, Kenneth Meeks, Jimmy Peebles, Robert Cochran, Chase Woods, and Bailey Woods.
