Jaworski Ricks

Mr. Jaworski Ricks, 40, of Swainsboro passed away Monday, January 24, 2022, at Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mr. Ricks was born May 1, 1981, in Augusta to James Lee Ricks and Linda Gail Nunn Ricks. He was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Ricks; brother, Rusty Ricks; sister, Victoria Ricks; paternal grandmother; Udell Ricks Coleman; maternal grandparents, Edna Mae Brown and Melvin Nunn. Mr. Ricks was a forklift operator for LJR Forestry. He enjoyed riding 4 wheelers with his wife, fishing and playing his PS4.  He loved to take his wife on dates and spend time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Jessica Ricks of Swainsboro; mother, Linda Ricks (Harold Sullivan) of Swainsboro; sons, Jason Easterling of Claxton, Jaworski Ricks, Jr. of Columbus, Jaylen Ricks of Swainsboro; daughter, Jalaiya Ricks of Swainsboro; brothers, James Nunn and Christopher Ricks, both of Swainsboro; sisters, Chiquita Nunn of Swainsboro, Nicole Ricks of Girard; paternal grandfather, Ed Edwards of Lexsy; father and mother-in-law, Arthur and Angela Hurley; nieces, Deondria Nunn, Alisia Nunn, Faith Ricks, Ashley Elizabeth Hall, Kaitlynn Michell Farrer; nephews, Cleveland Hartmyer, Austin Lee Farrer; and many friends.

Graveside Service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Swainsboro City Cemetery with Rev Tim Price officiating

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.
