Jeffrey Allen Reed

On Tuesday, March the 11th at approximately 7:45 pm, Jeffrey went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  A true man of God, he was a member of First Church Fort Oglethorpe in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. He will be truly missed by loving friends and family to include his son James Allen Reed, and wife Kelly with two granddaughters Avery and Lola who reside in Priceville, Alabama. Also, his mother, Diane Key, and brother Jerry Reed of Athens, Alabama and his aunt Paulla Key, who resided with him at Heritage townhomes in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. He will be best known for his loving kind and gentle nature and is a man who had unswerving faith in Jesus Christ.  Everyone knew Jeff by his beautiful smile and outgoing personality and truly was an example of his faith and belief in Christ Jesus.

His funeral services include a viewing at Heritage funeral home on Tuesday, March 18 from 4 PM to 8 PM followed the next day, Wednesday the 19th with The Service at 3 PM. Jeff’s family has a family cemetery located in Adrian, Georgia, which is near Swainsboro Georgia. On Thursday, the 20th Jeffrey will be buried at the Braswell cemetery with a graveside service at 2 PM. Friends and family are invited to attend any or all of the services as the Lord leads you to do. We will all miss him terribly but are comforted to know that he is now with his Lord and Savior.
