Jerry Edwin Taylor

Mr. Jerry Edwin Taylor, 84, of Bartow passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024, at his residence.  He was born on June 25, 1940, to the late Dixie Newman Cook.

Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Daphne Taylor of Bartow; sons, Travis Aycock (Jimmy Magness) of Stockbridge, Eric Taylor (Jessica) of Buford; daughter, Mellony Jayroe (Mike) of Townville, S.C.; grandchildren, Anna Taylor, Olivia Taylor, Cody Jayroe (Kaylyn), Kylie Jayroe, Joshua Jayroe (Frankie), Kaitlyn Grace Aycock; great grandchild, Renleigh Jayroe; brother, Bo McGouirk (Kitty); several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a. m. Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Chaplain Jonathan Shepard officiating.  Lunch will be served after the service at Minton Chapel Church along with visitation.
