Mr. Jim Lewis Henry, 68, of Swainsboro passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Georgia Regents University in Augusta following an extended illness.
Mr. Henry was born June 8, 1946 in Swainsboro to the late Ridgeway Henry and Leila R. Flanders Henry. Mr. Henry was a life long resident of Emanuel County. He was owner and operator of Jim’s Snacks and Sales.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Laura Henry of Swainsboro; sons, Marvin Dwayne (Jimmy May) of Waynesboro and Mitchell Dean (Brenda) Henry of Swainsboro; brother, Ridge (Linda) Henry of Smiths AL; sisters, Lavonia Roby of Macon, Geneva (Hoke) Rich of Swainsboro, Laura Cine Amos of Poplin Missouri, Jewell Johnson of Swainsboro and Frances (James) Chance of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Sierra Henry (Dylan Poole) and Austin Henry all of Swainsboro; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning, March 21, 2015.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday evening, March 20, 2015 at Chapman Funeral Home.
