Mr. Jimmy Curtis Dye, 78, of Sandersville, passed away at the Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center on May 12, 2025.

Jimmy graduated from Washington County High School in 1964 and shortly after was drafted into military service, serving his country in the Army and during the Vietnam War. He worked over 30 years at LAPP Insulators Group as a lab tech and worked at Howard Sheppard as a dispatcher for about a year.  Jimmy loved catching and eating fish and spent many hours fishing.  He was an avid fisherman and excellent cook.  Jimmy spent much of his free time catching and preparing fish for his family to eat.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Curtis and Helen Sanders Dye, and his sister, Tammy Dye.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Jason (Kelli) Dye of Harrison and Josh (Samantha) Dye of Palm Beach, FL, his grandchildren, Cody Dye, Asher Dye, Grace Dye, and Ryder Dye, and two great-grandchildren, Jackson Dye and Jase Dye.
