Joann H. Hill

Mrs. JoAnn H. Hill, 59, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at PruittHealth Swainsboro following an extended illness.

Mrs. Hill was born August 17, 1962, in Swainsboro to the late Eddie Carswell and Juanita Hughes Dixon.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Juanita Sherrod; brother, Joseph Carswell; sisters, Dianne Lee, Rosie Carswell.

Survivors include her special friend, Quincy Rountree of Twin City; son, Dwain King of Swainsboro; daughters, Mildred King, Shveckia Hoover (Julian Jenkins), Quoshondra Hughes all of Swainsboro; brothers, Jimmy Woods, Tony Woods both of Swainsboro, Jimmy Carswell of Atlanta, John Carswell of Seattle, WA, Ed Willie Carswell, Dock Carswell (Angela) both of Swainsboro, Eddie Carswell, Jr. of Sylvania; sisters, Lavonia Woods, Melissa Woods both of Swainsboro, Betty King of Twin City, Mary Oglesby (Michael) of Canoochee, Annie Hill (London) of Swainsboro, Brenda Mack of Millen, Tarra Carswell, Julia Carswell both of Swainsboro, Frankie Carswell of Statesboro, LaShonda Waters of Sylvania;  several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Endtime Faith Deliverance Church.

Interment will follow at Endtime Faith Deliverance Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Julian Jenkins, Timothy Jones, Albert Nelson, Jr., Tommy Scott, Tony Woods, and Jimmy Woods.
