John A. Reissiger

Mr. John A. Reissiger, 73, of Swainsboro passed away Friday, October 14, 2022, at AU Medical Center in Augusta following an extended illness.

Mr. Reissiger was born April 28, 1949, in Santiago, Chile to John B. Reissiger and Anita Elder Reissiger. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Ed Reissiger. Mr. Reissiger served in the U. S. Air Force and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his special friend, Jan Hooks of Swainsboro; mother, Anita Elder Reissiger; sons, John Nathan Reissiger, Andrew Reissiger (Annie) of Vashon, WA; brothers, Richard Reissiger (Karen) of Valdosta, Bob Reissiger of Fairhope, AL; brother-in-law, Keith Hooks of Swainsboro; sisters-in-law, Beth Reissiger of Cumming, Gail Greenway (Wayne) of Swainsboro, Debra Fordham (David) of Metter; 2 grandchildren, 1 niece, several nephews, and many friends.

Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 29, 2022, at Jack Creek Farms in Stillmore (57 Bluebird Road, Twin City, Georgia 30401) with Reverend Mark Sweat officiating.

All friends and family are invited to a reception at Nunez Baptist Church immediately following the service.
