Johnnie Etta (Williams) Starnes

Mrs. Johnnie Etta Williams Starnes, 52, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022.

Mrs. Starnes was born September 21, 1970, in Swainsboro to Robert Henry Williams and Johnnie Mae Woods Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lee Starnes. Johnnie was raised in Summertown. She attended Summertown Elementary School and Swainsboro High School. Johnnie was full of life and a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Johnnie was a CNA at PruittHealth for 23 years and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at Full Deliverance Church of Jesus in Swainsboro.

Johnnie’s memories will forever be cherished in the hearts of her 3 children, Sterlyng Williams and Kaisha Williams, both of Swainsboro, Domanique Williams of Savannah; 3 sisters, Sallie Hill of Midville, Melissa Williams and Shveckia Hoover, both of Swainsboro; 5 brothers, Robert Williams, Timothy Williams, Leartus Williams (Shirlene), Freddie Williams, and Willie Williams (Chondra), all of Swainsboro; 6 grandchildren, Irihanna Williams, Christian Williams, Dearria Williams, Ayden Cochran, Saaphyria Robinson, Al’Tyrion Williams; Goddaughter, Taylor Roberts of Swainsboro; very special friends, Priscilla Williams, Gloria Whigham; a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Swainsboro Auditoruim.

Interment will follow in Green Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.
