Mrs. Johnnie Faye Taylor,88, of Metter passed away Monday afternoon, January 29, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Taylor was born December 13, 1929 in Douglas, Ga. to the late Joseph Joel Lawson and Nellie Dickerson Lawson. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Taylor loved crocheting, reading, and especially loved her family. She was a member of Metter First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Ernie Keith Taylor of Metter; daughter, Faye Taylor of Metter; grandsons, Will Taylor, Joel Taylor, Chase Taylor, and Keith Edge.; 6 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be at Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2018 with Rev. Royce Mosley officiating.
