Johnny Jack Ross

Mr. Johnny Jack Ross, 66, passed away on July 28, 2025, in Augusta, GA.

One of ten children, Johnny was born in 1959 to the late Clarence Leroy and Mabel Katherine Ross. Johnny loved many things in life, traveling, especially going to the beach, riding his four-wheeler, going to eat and talking on the phone with friends and family, and he was an avid Atlanta Braves fan.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Laura Jean Overstreet Ross, his parents, brothers, James Ross, William Ross, Johnny Ross, Charles Ross, and his sisters, Frances Janie Ross, and Betty Sue Ross.

He is survived by his siblings, Kenneth L. Ross of Hephzibah, GA, Peggy Ross of Leesburg, GA, and Linda (Ricky) Barnes of Carrolton, GA, a niece, Skye (Michael Page) Pierce of Temple, GA, and great niece and nephew, Nova Page and Nash Page.

Funeral services will be held 12noon at Chapman Funeral Home on Saturday, August 2, 2025 with Elder Mike Gray officiating. The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Coleman’s Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.

The Pallbearers will be Ricky Barnes, Gerald Henry, Mark Reeves, and Chan Strange.
