Jonathan Stuart Wilson

Mr. Jonathan Stuart Wilson, 42, of Oak Park passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, at his home following a brief illness.

Mr. Wilson was born November 1, 1980, in Augusta, Georgia to Carlton Ray Wilson and Patricia Ann Pierce Hutchinson. He was preceded in death by his father and fiancée Amber Hinely. Mr. Wilson was a beloved father, son and friend. He loved to fish almost as much as he loved the Georgia Bulldogs. Mr. Wilson enjoyed camping and taking his children on vacations. He loved to cook and made the best homemade ice cream.  Mr. Wilson had an excellent skill with building. He was the sole owner of Affordable Deck and Docks. He built the most amazing docks. Mr. Wilson was loved by many and was the type of person who would do anything for anyone. He will be missed by so many.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Hutchinson of Oak Park; sons, Logan Wilson, Connor Wilson, both of Oak Park, Gabriel “Bube” Wilson and Blake Wilson of Ellabell; daughter, Destiny Wilson of Ellabell; brothers, Brad Lanigan of Twin City, Clay Lanigan (Kelly) of Twin City, Jeffery Wilson of Vidalia; sister, Amanda Moxley (Brandon) of Oak Park and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at Chapman Funeral Home, Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
