Joseph Lamar Hudson

Mr. Joseph Lamar Hudson, 58, of Norristown passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah following an extended illness.

Mr. Hudson was born August 3, 1964, in Adrian to Joseph Lee Hudson and Betty Grace Hudson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sonya Kay Hudson; sister, Linda Jo Hudson. Mr. Hudson was born and raised in Norristown and lived there for most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved children. Mr. Hudson loved being outdoors, hunting, and fishing with his late wife.

He is survived by his son, Blake Edward Hudson of Chesapeake, VA; daughters, Kayce Jo Patrick (Sean) of Trion, Raven Grace Orlikoff (Anthony) of Centreville, VA, Gabrielle Presley Fultz (Austin) of Norristown; grandsons, Jaxson Patrick, Bradley Patrick, Milo Fultz; sisters, Brenda Sikes (Al), Patricia Mimbs, Cathie Henry, Teresa Barrett (Steve), Tonza Varner (David); and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.
