Joseph Ronald Salyer

Mr. Joseph Ronald Salyer, 65, of Adrian passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Salyer was born October 15, 1954 in Swainsboro to the late George Arch Salyer, Sr. and Mary Henry Salyer.  He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmie Wilburn Salyer.  Mr. Salyer attended Swainsboro High School and lived his life between Swainsboro, North Carolina, and Adrian. He retired from Technimark in Asheboro, NC as a dye-setter. Mr. Salyer enjoyed fishing. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his brothers, George Arch Salyer, Jr. (Suk) of Fayetteville, NC, Wayne Salyer (Marcia) of Dublin; sister, Phyllis Hutcheson (O.C.) of Adrian; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial Service will be Friday, October 18, 2019, 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverends George Salyer, Jr. and Joe Bedgood officiating.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service.
