Ms. Josephine Kirkland, 58, of Swainsboro passed away Monday, July 13, 2026. She was born on June 8, 1968, in Swainsboro to the late Rollie Kirkland and Ruthie Mae Kirkland. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Eliza Kirkland.
She is survived by her sisters; Emma Jean Butler (Jacob), Annie Ruth Kirkland, Frankie Mae Kirkland (Gary), Lillie Bell Kirkland; cousin that was like a sister, Dobbie Kirkland Johnson (Aaron); several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 17, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Hardin officiating.
