Mrs. Joyce Scott, 70, of Twin City passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at her residence. She was born on July 16, 1955, to Robert Lee Brown and Pauline Brown Bowen. Martha was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline and Jesse Bowen; father, Robert Lee Brown; daughter, Jennifer Fennell; sister, Fayette Kirchner.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Gerald Scott of Twin City; stepson, Randy Scott (Vera) of Kite; stepdaughters, Keila Perkins (Nick) of Swainsboro, Nikkia Mathis (Russell) of Statesboro; brother, Wayne Brown of Twin City; beloved niece, Tammy Wilkerson (Willard) of Swainsboro; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2026, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Harrell officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The pallbearers are Kenton Scott, Teddy Hernandez, Manuel Hernandez, Ricky Hernandez, Reecie Scott and Shane Brown.
