Judy (Crosby) Brett

Ms. Judy Crosby Brett, 77, of Atlanta passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024, at her residence following an extended illness.  She was born October 21, 1946, in Hillsborough, Florida to the late John Wesley Crosby and Ruby Baker Crosby.  Judy was preceded in death by her son, Hank Brett; brothers, John Wesley Crosby, Jr. and David Crosby; sister Beth Sirvinskas.  She obtained an associate’s degree in interior design.  She also enjoyed a long career in real estate.  Helping people find their dream home was her passion.  Judy enjoyed helping her friends with their choice of home décor.  Her Bible was special to her, and she enjoyed reading and studying the word of God.  She was an excellent seamstress.  Judy and her granddaughter, Olivia, loved baking and sharing their sweets treats with the neighbors.  She loved bird watching and collecting bird figurines. Her grandchildren were her world.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Paula Brett Cypress; grandchildren, Johnathon Brett (Elizabeth), Tyler Palmer (Olivia), Trent Palmer, Olivia Cypress; great-grandchildren, Truett Palmer, Ridge Palmer, Falicity Brett, Theodore Brett, and Addie Brett.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Deacon Mac McIntosh officiating.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service.
