Mrs. Karon Alexis Green, 59, of Soperton, died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia following an extended illness.
Mrs. Green was born in Jasper, FL May 12, 1956 to the late J. W. Green and Lucinda Hysmith Green. She was preceded in death by her sister, Vivian Ann Corwin; brothers, Michael Jerry Green and Harold Franklin “Buddy” Hysmith. She was a homemaker and a member of Thompson Baptist Church in Vidalia.
Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Juan of Soperton and Jessica Rodriguez of Little Rock, Arkansas; sons, Cecil Phillips of Soperton, Kohler W. Phillips, Jr. and J. W. Lymon both of Phoenix Arizona; brothers, Allen (Linette) Green of Kite and Gary (Jennifer) Green of Adrian; sister, Wanda Barber of Kite; 28 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, December 9, 2015 with Sister June Scott and Reverend Allen Green officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday evening, December 9, 2015 at Chapman Funeral Home.
