Kathryn Love

Ms. Kathryn Love, 68, of Soperton passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Community Hospice following an extended illness.

Ms. Love was born September 4, 1952 in Soperton to the late Carlos Beasley and Estelle Black Beasley. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Love. Ms. Love was born and raised in Treutlen County. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, telling scary stories and playing with her great grandkids. Ms. Love was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her sons, Mann Akridge of Adrian, Pete (Patty) Akridge of Stillmore; daughters, Melissa (Earl) Barwick of Soperton, Michelle Brantley of Soperton, Sabrina (Lonny) Owens of Adairsville; step-children, Tammy Love of Brunswick, Joe Love of Oak Park; 32 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Graveside Service will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplain John Daughtry, Chaplain Richard Barnard, and Mr. Dustin Stewart officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 16, 2020 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Pallbearers are Coty Barwick, Corey Barwick, Nick Brantley, Austin Akridge, Kyle Morris, Johnathan Clements.

In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6 feet rule will be enforced during visitation and service.
