Kathy Jean (Tomlin) Land

Mrs. Kathy Jean Land, 66, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Land was born September 2, 1956, in Grant City, Missouri to the late Howard Tomlin and Norma Mae Beers Tomlin.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Elvin Tomlin.  Mrs. Land loved to travel and paint.  She was an artsy, crafty person.  Most of all, she loved God and studying his word.  Mrs. Land was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by her husband, Sam Land; son, Jay Young of Perryville, MO; daughter, Melissa Jean Seymour of Austin, TX; brothers, Cecil Tomlin and Edward Tomlin, both of Rogers, AR; sister, Barbara Young of St. Genevieve, MO; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Memorial Service will be private and at a later date.
