Ms. Kathy A. Roberson, 51, of Louisville died Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Pruitt Health Old Capital in Louisville following an extended illness
Ms. Roberson was born in Swainsboro and lived most of her life in Emanuel County until she became sick and moved to Louisville to be closer to her family. She was a member of Blundale Baptist Church and she loved to take care of people. She was preceded in death by her father, James Roberson; brother, James “Man” Roberson Jr.; sister, Joann Smith.
Survivors include her mother, Iris Christine Peebles Roberson; two daughters, Tessa Brown (Matt Dematteo) of Bartow, and Misty (Randy) Oglesby of Millen; sisters, Carol sue Roberson of Atlanta, and Dianna (Bobby) Sheppard of Davisboro; grandchildren, Ava, Hayden, and Gabriel Oglesby of Millen; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 6 P.M. Friday, September 4, 2015 with Reverend Butch Taylor officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until time of service at Chapman Funeral Home.
