Mrs. Katie Lou “Sally” Hendrix, 77, of Twin City died Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Hendrix was born in Swainsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Faircloth and Lou Sindy Moxley Faircloth, husbands, Charlie Stewart and A.L. “Bubba” Clubb. Mrs. Hendrix loved weekend yard sales and was a member of the Twin City First Baptist Chruch.
Survivors include her son, Charlie Chris Stewart of Anchorage Alaska; brother, Carl (Sara) Faircloth of Twin City; sister, Opal Faircloth Fincher of Augusta; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11 o'clock at the Gumlog Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
