Baby Boy Rogers was born May 21, 2014 in Augusta to Kendall Hopkins and James Rogers, III. Baby Boy Rogers loved to listen to music, play with his family members and eat Oreo Cookies. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Larry Burke and Barbara Hopkins; paternal great grandfather, Kenneth Wintermute.
Survivors include his parents, Kendall Hopkins and James Rogers, III of Swainsboro; sister, Maddison Hall of Swainsboro; maternal grandparents, Ronda and Gary Opolka of Midville and Adam and Holly Hopkins of Swainsboro; paternal grandparents, Sheena and Michael Hargrove of Sandersville and James and Tracy Rogers, Jr. of Oak Park; maternal great grandparents, Ander Hopkins of Swainsboro and Brenda and Jack Radford of Midville; paternal great grandparents, James and Linda Rogers, Sr. of Oak Park and Jo Ann Gillis of Oak Park; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon December 4, 2014 with Reverend Joe Bedgood officiating.
Interment will be in the Eastbrook Cemetery near Swainsboro.
The family will receive friends from 1p.m. until time of service at Chapman Funeral Home.
