Kevin D. Welch

Mr. Kevin D. Welch, 59, of Summertown passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at his residence following a brief illness.

Mr. Welch was born February 23, 1961 in Monck’s Corner, S.C. to the late Gordon Welch and Dianne Wyndham Turbeville. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Henry Turbeville; stepmother, Liz Welch. Mr. Welch was a truck driver and diesel mechanic for Chris’s Truck Repair. He enjoyed riding his golf cart, grilling, listening to music, and had a love for fast cars and racing.

Survivors include his daughters, Ashley Leigh Welch of Adams Run, S.C. and Misty Renee Welch of Monck’s Corner, S.C.; brother, Jamee Welch of Swainsboro; sister, Gina Shuler (Wayne) of Monck’s Corner, S.C.; 2 nieces, 1 nephew and many friends.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Stuart Waller officiating.

Interment will follow at 4 p.m.  Berea United Methodist Church Cemetery in Cordesville, S.C.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Chapman Funeral Home.
