Mrs. LaTonza Renee Kellam, 39 of Savannah, GA transitioned home Saturday, October 19, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Candler Hospital after an extended illness. She was born August 2, 1985, to Mary Delois Worthen and the late Frank Kellam, Jr.
Many people did not know her first name, she was affectionately called, “Renee.” She was born in Swainsboro, GA and raised by her mother. She was the baby of the bunch, and she was very active as a child. She was educated in the Emanuel County School System. Renee left Georgia and lived in various states but when she returned to Georgia she settled in Savannah.
Renee loved to hang out with her friends, and we knew if she introduced them as her sister or brother, they were good friends.
We find comfort in knowing Renee accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior before transitioning from her earthly body.
Renee is preceded in death by her father, Frank Kellam, Jr., paternal grandfather Frank Kellam, Sr., and her maternal grandfather Albert Worthen.
She leave six children to cherish her memories, three sons: Camron Weise, Seattle WA, Vernon Arnold, Savannah GA, and Treyvon Kellam, Emporia VA., three daughters: Azaria Kellam and Zykeria Kellam, Swainsboro, GA, and Taleah Doleman, Vidalia GA., mother: Mary D. Worthen, Swainsboro GA, maternal grandmother: Juanita Worthen, Swainsboro, GA., paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Kellam, Dublin, GA., two brothers: Terrance Worthen, Swainsboro, GA, and Kamal Kellam, Dublin, GA., two sisters: Shayla (Danny) Dancy, Welcome, MD., and Theresa (James) Mercer, Oak Park, GA. and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends who will miss her dearly.
