When you here “They do not make ‘em like that anymore” Pa Pete definitely fit the description.
He was one of the hardest working men and yet his gentle soul was friendly to all.

His loved his time at the farm. He planted a garden season and loved to pick it for you! His family and friends enjoyed many of his delicious vegetables. He was famous for his red potatoes, squash, cabbage, turnips, mustard and okra. He also was such a perfectionist that he used a push plow.
Pa Pete also loved to fish at the farm. He has caught and fried many. He went most every day to feed his fish. He enjoyed to see them “pop the water”.
